XiuLi has $459 and YuLi has $1560.
After both of them spent equal amount of money, XiuLi has 1/4 as many
money as YuLi. So how much money has YuLi spent ?

ReplyDeleteSorry for the delay in replying your question as I am busy with the intensive coaching for my students taking PSLE. The question mentioned that XiuLi left with 1/4 as compared to YuLi. (1/4 is 1 out of 4. which mean YuLi has 4 portions. In comparison XiuLi only has 1 portions. We have to be very careful about the comparison. It does not meant that XiuLi is having 1/4 of the total that was left. The 1/4 of what XiuLi was left with is relatively to the portion of what YuLi was left with. In this case, we took what YuLi left as 1 whole which is 4 out of 4).
